Grand Lake is very high in elevation so it was difficult for my grandpa to breathe, but his oxygen helped him out and he was still able to enjoy the time we spend up there. As a family we had a fishing tournament (my dad won!), a cornhole tournament (my cousin Missy and my sister Kelsey won), a chubby bunny contest (Dave won!) and we also went jet skiing, boating.
The only major mishap of the 17 person trip was the water went out in our house we all were staying in. Luckily, us kids had no shame in bathing in the FREEZING creek that was by the house. Even with out water, it definately was a family trip that NO ONE is forgeting anytime soon. It was especially special for Dave and I as we will soon be moving 2000 miles away for our family members. We were so glad we were able to go to Grand Lake!
