A Gigantic Loss...

Well, it was a rough day for the ol' birds. The Ravens lost 30-10 against the reigning World Champion New York Giants. The Ravens are known for their strong defense but today they looked like boys among men.

The right tackle Adam Terry was injured for a few plays so they put Dave in. As Dave put if "He got a sniff of battle." He did great while he was in but then he was pulled so that Adam could go back in.

On a positive note, Dave said that we should be very grateful to have been drafted to a team like the Ravens because the Giants stadium and the surrounding area is a "$*%& Hole." He said that if we would have been drafted to the Giants that he would have sent me to CO to live and he would have rented a 1 bd rm apartment. (My question is who would have gotten Oso??? ;-))

I asked Dave how the Giant fans were and he just laughed. He said while he was warming up some guy yelled "Hey #76....buy a razor." Dave looked up at him and was surprised to see he had a pretty narly beard himself. Dave just gave him a scuzz that said..."That's the pot calling the kettle black." HAHAHA

The team took a train to the Meadow Lands. Dave said that it was a pretty cool experience and that the seats are "like twice as big as air plane seats!" He is on his way home right now. I can't wait to take a train ride some day. It is soooo east coast ;-).

Well, on to the next game....The Philadelphia Eagles. Hopefully we can get back on the winning track.
