This weekend we were lucky enough to have Dave’s brother Mike and Mike’s father-in-law Sam come to visit us here in Maryland. Mike’s wife Stephanie came up with the idea to send Mike and her Dad out here for an anniversary and father’s day gift. They flew in on Saturday and stayed with us until Tuesday afternoon. Ben, Dave’s brother who lives in Ohio, also came up for the weekend and stayed with us.
We had all sorts of fun adventures including taking a water taxi in the inner harbor, eating at the ESPN Zone, going to the game (Go Ravens!), watching Dave play center in the 4th quarter,going to Gettysburg, buying Raven’s memorabilia at Wal-Mart (the best place to buy it), eating Ben’s homemade apple pie, and just hanging out in the man cave watching football. Sam and Mike were also able to take the train down to Washington DC on Monday.
All-in-all it was a great weekend and we were glad to host Ben, Mike and Sam. We had a great time with them! Thanks Steph for coming up with the idea!
